FUNAAB students protest robbery attacks and raping of there student withing and outside the campus

Scores of students of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, went on the rampage, on Thursday, over alleged incessant robbery attacks on school hostels within and outside the campus.

Two policemen and a student were injured while several vehicles were burnt during the protest, which lasted for about six hours. A student was allegedly cut with a machete on the head during the protest.

Our correspondent, who visited the scene, saw no fewer than seven vehicles that were set ablaze.
A police post at Osiele and another vehicle parked on the premises, as well as six other vehicles along the Abeokuta-Ibadan Road were set ablaze.

Also, the church, allegedly headed by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olusola Oyewole, Divine Heights Bible Church, Kotopo, along the Abeokuta-Ibadan Road, was also vandalised by the students while the windshields and wing mirrors of four vehicles on the premises were shattered.

An award ceremony in honour of distinguished Nigerians will hold on August 27, 2016 at Best Western Hotel, Hendon way, London.

At the event, Posthumous Awards will be presented to the families of three late musicians who did well for Nigerian Music: Dr Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, OJB Jezreel and Goldie Harvey.

The event is holding in London for the first time.

Founder, Titi Aboyade Cole says ‘the wives of the Governors of Ogun and Oyo States are to be honoured with Special Awards, Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, a female politician and Commissioner for Women Affairs in Ondo State, Olasinmi Odunmbaku will be honoured too‘.

A collaboration between American singer Tinashe and HKN Music leader Davido has been officially confirmed.

Back in May, the singer and Davido were pictured in the studio and reports of a possible collaboration were rife.

Tinashe has confirmed that there will be collaborations with @KATYAMUSIC and @iam_Davido coming soon!’ it shared.

Davido is working on his second studio album with expected international collaborations after previously teaming up with Meek Mill on ‘Fans Mi’. Young Thug and Trey Songz have also reportedly with the singer
